Rilasciata la versione 1.5.17 di Joomla!

Nella giornata di sabato 24/Aprile/2010 è stata data notizia dell'aggiornamento del CMS dalla versione stabile 1.5.15 alla versione 1.5.16. Leggendo nel sito ufficiale (Joomla.org), sono stati corretti i seguenti problemi:

Security

Four security issues were fixed in this release:

Statistics for the 1.5.16 release period:

• Tracker activity resulted in a net increase of 83 active issues:

  • 48 fixed in SVN
• At the time the 1.5.16 release was packaged, the tracker had 303 active issues:
  • 169 open
  • 103 confirmed
  • 31 pending

Problemi riscontrati con la versione 1.5.16 di Joomla!

Dopo aver effettuato l'aggiornamento, si sono verificati alcuni problemi nei siti di produzione. Nello specifico, i problemi hanno riguardato:

• le versioni del PHP precedenti alla 5.2 installate sui server;
• difficoltà nell'effettuare il login sia in amministrazione che in frontend.

Prontamente segnalato il piccolo bug, il Team di Joomla! ha deciso di procedere con il rilascio, in data 27/Aprile/2010, di una ulteriore nuova versione, la 1.5.17 che avrebbe corretto i due errori. Effettivamente così è stato. Nel sito di Joomla.org è disponibile la versione 1.5.17 stabile, nome in codice:  Wojmamni ama woobusani. Per chi non avesse effettuato l'upgrade dalla versione 1.5.15 alla 1.5.16, lo può fare direttamente dalla 1.5.15 alla 1.5.17.
